It is important for us to start from a place of empowerment and understanding of why we have arrived at this place to explore yoga. During Week 1, we will set our baseline by understanding the benefits of yoga and our why. Grab a journal and a mat.

Your Week Ahead

  • Monday

    Week one; Day ONE! Congrats on starting your Yoga Journey here at AIMwell Yoga. We will jump in with movement and journaling. Be sure to have a dedicated journal for this series. We will use it weekly.

    We start with a Chair Yoga practice on YouTube and a journaling exercise to connect with our why.

  • Tuesday

    Nothing major. Step outside. Find a treadmill or even walk around your house. Stay upright and moving for 15 minutes.

    Pro Yogi Tip: Make this more fun by turning on your favorite dance songs or podcast.

  • Wednesday

    We are starting slow with the assumption this is all new. If you want to move, hit the gym, find another flow to do - it is your day! Spend it how you like.

  • Thursday

    Join us for a transformative yoga flow designed to empower your body and mind. This week, we focus on standing poses that build strength, stability, and confidence

  • Friday

    Lace up the tennis shoes and hit the pavement for another day of walking!

    Pro Yogi Tip: Stay consistent early on to ensure a strong finish.

  • Saturday

    Yin Yoga is another style of yoga. Similarly to how there are different forms of dance, running, and other movement modalities.

    Choose 5 -6 poses to practice for 20 minutes from the Yin Yoga Guide in the Week 1 PDF.

  • Sunday

    Take breather. Prepare yourself for the week ahead.
