Beginner’s Yoga

Slow Flow Yoga

Yin Yoga Class

What is Measurable Progress in Yoga?

  • Physical Flexibility and Mobility - i.e. achieve deeper bends, or find more ease in deep stretches

  • Balance and Stability - i.e. ability to stand in tree pose for a few seconds without wobbling.

  • Breath Control and Awareness - i.e. coordinate breath with basic movements (inhale to rise, exhale to fold).

  • Mindfulness and Focus - i.e. focus for a few moments without distraction.

  • Posture Improvement - i.e. noticeable improvement in standing and sitting posture, less slouching.

  • Consistency and Commitment - i.e. attends class at least once a week and starts a home practice.

  • Functional Movement - i.e. noticing fewer aches during daily activities like bending or walking.
